Welcome to our competition page. Logan Libraries regularly run youth related competitions across their 9 libraries, and we wanted a space to help keep you up to date.
Occasionally we will be running competitions just for readers and commenters of this blog.
Read This !! – Got a favourite book? Think everyone should read it? Here’s your chance to convince them – and win! You might not only have them reading it but you could also share in $40,000 worth of prizes. This project is a celebration of books for young adults and provides those aged between 12 and 18 years to share their love of books and reading with their peers in a creative way. Competition opens March 1 and closes May 31 2012.
Summer Read Book Review and Book Trailer Competition – Closed 31 January 2012. Read a book over the school holidays, make a video review or book trailer, post it to You Tube and enter the draw to win an iPod touch. The contest opens December 1, 2011 and closes January 31. Book Week Celebrations – To finish our Book week celebratations, we have 2 copies of William Kostakis’s book Loathing Lola to give away to the readers of this blog. Please leave a comment about your favourite book in the comments field by 9 am on the 3oth of September. We will randomly pick 2 winners.

Picture Past It Competition - Closed 30th April 2011. Picture Past It is a competition where you use photos that capture the changes (or similarities) to Logan City past and present. You will need to find an old Logan photograph (current boundaries), that shows a place, or event; and take a new photograph of the same place. Simple!!
National Youth Week Photo and Win a Book Competition – Closes 11 April 2011. Read a book at one of our 9 libraries and enter the Win a Book competition or enter an “Own it” themed photo in the competition.
